Transfer Station Hours

You may bring materials to the Transfer Station, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM,
and Saturday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Hazardous waste is accepted only on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Transfer Station is closed Sundays and Holidays.

The District Transfer Station was recently redesigned! Visit our new tipping building for solid waste, as well as our new household hazardous waste collection facility, the Hazwaste Center. Check out our construction photo archive to see pictures of our project as it unfolded.

District Office Hours

The District Office is Open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

DIRECTIONS

We are located on 1223 Route 7 South in Middlebury.

If you are traveling from the north:
Continue on Route 7 about 2 miles south of town. We are located on the left hand side between the U.S. Forest Service and Breadloaf Construction.

If you are traveling from the south:
Continue about 2 miles past the junction with Route 116. We are located on the right hand side just after Breadloaf Construction.

District Member Towns are: Addison, Bridport, Cornwall, Ferrisburgh, Goshen, Leicester, Lincoln, Middlebury, Monkton, New Haven, Orwell, Panton, Ripton, Shoreham, Starksboro, Vergennes, Waltham, Weybridge, and Whiting.
